International Childhood Cancer Day

Monday 15 February 2021 in News from the Cancer Centre

International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) is a global campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer, and to express support for children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors, and their families.

This annual event was created in 2002 by Childhood Cancer International, a global network of 176 parent organizations, childhood cancer survivor associations, childhood cancer support groups, and cancer societies, in over 93 countries, across 5 continents.

Together, on ICCD, we raise our voices and envision the day when all children and adolescents with cancer benefit from the best possible treatment, care and support regardless of where they live in the world.

Make a difference by raising awareness, fundraising or donating to help find a cure for cancer. All fundraising efforts, big and small, help change the lives of children with cancer.
