Gold windmill craft captured kids' attention this week in the Oncology clinic as they carefully put them together then watched them spin, helped by Marnie and Kay, to celebrate Gold Month.

Eager hands did a great job of tricky cutting and careful folding which led to the excitement of creating an artwork with moving parts. The mesmerising whirling motion of their windmills inspired lots of giggles and fun as our September celebrations continue for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Parents and grandparents helped children with their craft while sitting together at a large table overloaded with paper, glue, sticks and coloured bits and pieces. They looked like they had as much fun as the kids proving that windmills are entertaining for all ages!
