Going green for St Patrick’s Day

Wednesday 17 March 2021 in News from the Cancer Centre

St Patrick’s Day is not just for the Irish as we all love to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland’s special day with green clothes and festivities.

Nurse Clare, in Camperdown Ward, has more reason to celebrate than most, though, because she is from Ireland. With patriotic green attire and a lucky three leaf clover she joined in the fun of one of the most party orientated days on the calendar and added some Irish charm to Oncology.

You can have some Irish fun, too, with these St Patrick’s Day jokes:

What do you call an Irish spider?

Paddy long legs

When is an Irish Potato not an Irish Potato?

When it’s a French fry

How can you tell if an Irishman is having a good time?

He’s Dublin over with laughter

Happy St Patrick’s Day!
