World Cancer Day 2020

World Cancer Day has been raising awareness about cancer for 20 years since its inception on 4 February 2000 at a world summit in Paris. It aims to promote research, improve patient services and set in motion global initiatives to make progress against cancer. A person embraces the world on its logo symbolising equality for all people needing cancer treatment and it encourages individuals to join together to fight cancer and make a difference.

On 4 February 2020 you can make a difference by fundraising or donating to support vital research, improve treatments, and buy life-saving equipment.

All fundraising efforts, big and small, help change the lives of children with cancer. Need ideas? Take a look at these tips. There are great ideas for all ages, budgets and time constraints.

Ready to help work towards beating cancer? Make a difference and donate to The Cancer Centre for Children.
