Noah runs and plays with the energy of a toddler, and you'd never know he was being treated for cancer except for his nasogatric tube. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer of the nerve tissue, in November last year and has already endured six rounds of chemotherapy, two stem cells transplants, radiation and surgery. 

As part of a pilot study to see if immunotherapy given at the beginning of treatment with chemotherapy is more helpful than at the end, Noah's treatment specifically targets neuroblastoma cells.

Despite a journey his mother, Jaimie, describes as an "intense rollercoaster" that included moving the family of six from Orange to Westmead to be close to the Hospital, the birth of their youngest child, and lockdown due to COVID-19, there is light at the end of the tunnel as Noah is expected to finish treatment in February.

Noah's family shared their story with the Daily Telegraph recently, to raise awareness about childhood cancer and show the importance of research, to help find a cure.
