Natalie's baking biscuits for kids with cancer

Monday 28 September 2020 in News from the Cancer Centre

Baking biscuits for kids with cancer is a fantastic way to raise awareness and show support for families during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Natalie Gabrael, a Clinical Research Associate in the Tumour Bank at our hospital, baked golden biscuits shaped like ribbons as gifts, and her sweet way of drawing attention to this important cause was a huge success. Raising awareness also raises support so facilities such as the Tumour Bank can help enable research to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer.

Have you done something special this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month? Let us know how you helped spread the word.
