Fundraising to fight childhood cancer

Thursday 20 February 2020 in News from the Cancer Centre

Sink a golf ball, or enjoy a high tea banquet, this Sunday at Windsor Golf Club and you will be helping children with cancer and supporting a cause that is close to Olivia and Karl Fretwell’s hearts. In January 2015, their precious 15-year-old daughter Brooke passed away from brain cancer after having been a patient at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for 13 years. They describe it as, “a hideous disease”.

The Fretwells have been making a difference ever since by fundraising, with this event supporting the Cancer Centre for Children and the Kids’ Cancer Project to help search for a cure and develop better and kinder treatments for children with cancer.

You can help make a difference too! Join them for Golf and High Tea Sunday and get ready for great prizes, raffles, auctions, lucky door prizes, guest speakers and much more.
