Bob's walk for kid's with cancer

Bob 'Tug' Wilson's annual walk is one of our main fundraising events here at the hospital. Taking place each March when the weather is perfect, Bob's walk begins at The Rocks, crosses our famous Bridge and skirts the harbour to conclude at Manly.

The 27 kilometre trek that includes stairs, hills and footpaths takes over five hours to complete but there are rest stations along the way, where you can rehydrate and have energy boosting snacks, and beautiful views of Sydney Harbour to admire as you walk to help kids with cancer.

A one kilometre family friendly walk has been introduced this year along the Manly Corso, which is a flat area, that finishes at The Manly Novotel so walkers can meet up with family and friends who are in the longer walk to celebrate together at the end.

It's a long walk but a fine one, and it provides an excellent opportunity to encourage your friends and family to sponsor you to raise money for the Cancer Centre for Children.
